Marla Soffer Joins Board of the Mexican Cultural Center

January 22, 2014Marla Soffer, of Galfand Berger LLP, was recently elected to the board of the Mexican Cultural Center, a Philadelphia based, non-profit organization. The MCC is devoted to promoting and encouraging a better understanding of Mexico and Mexican Culture, while cultivating and preserving Mexican traditions among residents of Mexican descent and diverse nationalities in the area. The Center is a supporter of the Mexican Community in Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware and serves as a networking hub for those interested in Mexican Culture.  The Center works closely with the Mexican Consulate in Philadelphia. Marla graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Urban Studies and Spanish. She received her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and has been practicing for over 30 years.  Fluent in Spanish, Marla is a frequent lecturer in community programs that focus on the rights and safety of workers as well as personal injury matters.  To learn more about Marla, read her full bio here.
