Brooke Elmi is a Partner at Galfand Berger, LLP handling personal injury matters including products liability, construction accidents, premises liability, and automobile accidents. Since joining the firm in 2018, Brooke has worked to obtain numerous high value recoveries for injured clients.
Brooke provides compassionate legal advocacy for injured clients to help them restore dignity and security after a serious accident. Brooke handles products liability cases involving large-scale manufacturing equipment, conveyors, agricultural equipment, construction machinery, and food packaging equipment, as well as consumer products, including incorrectly assembled bicycles and defective home appliances. She also represents clients who have been injured in construction site accidents, dog bites, and car accidents.
In 2022, Brooke successfully argued before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania in the matter of Merino v. Repak, B.V., resulting in a favorable decision holding that a foreign product manufacturer was subject to personal jurisdiction in Pennsylvania in a products liability case brought on behalf of a client who suffered injuries in a workplace accident.
Brooke is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Portuguese. Drawing on her language abilities and experience living abroad, Brooke effectively represents individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds and communities.
Brooke’s success has been recognized on the Super Lawyer Magazine’s Rising Stars list. Only 2.5% of Pennsylvania attorneys, under the age 40 – or in practice less than 10 years – receive a Rising Star honor.
Brooke earned her law degree from Temple University – James E. Beasley School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Brooke is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the U.S. District Courts for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and District of New Jersey.
